Guest Teacher

Arianna Marchiori was born in Padua, Italy, where she first delved into the world of ballet at Il Balletto di Castelfranco Veneto. At the age of 16, she ventured to the USA to further her training at the Boston Ballet School before graduating from the San Francisco Ballet School.

Launching her professional journey with the Dortmund Ballet in Germany, Arianna later relocated to London to showcase her talents with esteemed companies such as the English National Ballet and the New English Ballet Theatre. She then embarked on an enriching chapter touring and performing with Ballet Ireland.

Expanding her repertoire, Arianna ventured to Estonia, assuming the role of a soloist at Teater Vanemuine. Here, she dazzled audiences with her performances in pieces choreographed by Wang Yuan Yuan and Petr Zuska. In 2021, Arianna received an invitation to join the esteemed National Ballet of Ostrava as a soloist.

Throughout her career, Arianna has graced the stage in a variety of soloist roles, including captivating performances in productions such as “Dangerous Liaisons” by Krzysztof Pastor, “Don Quixote,” “Coppelia,” “Corsaire,” “Nutcracker,” “Rossini Cards” by Mauro Bigonzetti, and “Hora” by Ohad Naharin.

Transitioning to Melbourne, Arianna has immersed herself in the city’s vibrant creative scene and we are delighted to have her as a guest teacher at City Adult Ballet.
