Natasha Kusen

Born in Sydney, Natasha began dancing at the age of four. In 2001, Natasha won a scholarship at the Prix de Lausanne to study at the prestigious Royal Ballet School, in London.

While she was still a student, Natasha toured with The Royal Ballet to Australia in 2002 and Russia in 2003 and upon graduation in 2003, Natasha returned home to Australia to join The Australian Ballet.
In 2006 she was the recipient of the George Garratt Scholarship, which enabled her to gain valuable experience visiting European ballet companies. Natasha received two nominations for the Telstra Dancer of the Year Award in both 2010 and 2013. She was promoted to the rank of soloist dancer of The Australian Ballet in 2013.

 

Natasha retired from The Australian Ballet in December 2019 and welcomed her first child to the world in 2020.
