Justine Miles


Justine has great passion for teaching adult dancers.

At 15 years of age, Justine was accepted into the Australian Ballet School and was selected to join The Australian Ballet (under the Directorship of Maina Gielgud)
She quickly achieved the rank of Leading Soloist, working and learning alongside great artists such as Sir Robert Helpmann, Rudolf Nureyev, Galina Ulanova, Anne Woolliams, Yiri Kylian and many others.

Justine has danced a number of principal and soloist roles as a dancer with The Australian Ballet, including Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Coppelia, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Merry Widow and La Sylphide.

Justine was also a Guest Principal Artist for the ‘National Ballet of Canada’ and also the ‘Dancers Company’.

Due to her technical and artistic eye, Justine was appointed the position of Ballet Mistress for the Melbourne Ballet Company and choreographed “In Memoriam” and “Phases” for the company’s opening night seasons.
