Ezlimar Dortolina

Guest Teacher

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Ezlimar began her ballet journey at the Classical Ballet School in Venezuela, graduating in 1996.

Ezlimar has danced as a soloist and principal ballerina with renowned companies across the U.S. and Latin America, including Ballet Teresa Carreño, Tulsa Ballet, and the Oklahoma City Ballet. Her extensive repertoire includes leading roles in beloved productions such as Don Quixote, Black Swan, and the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker.

In addition to performing, Ezlimar has made an impact as a guest artist and teacher at various academies and festivals. Since relocating to Australia, she has taught at multiple dance schools and served as a supporting teacher for the 2021 International Ballet Workshops. Currently, she works with both Full Time and Part Time Programs at the National Ballet School.

An ABT Certified Teacher, Ezlimar has completed training in the ABT National Curriculum and is also certified in Progressing Ballet Technique and the International Character Dance Syllabus. She is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of dancers through her teaching and we are delighted to have her sharing her insights with our adult ballet dancers at City Adult Ballet.
