Chimene is a Melbourne based performer, choreographer and dance teacher.

She graduated with a Diploma of Dance Performance from the New Zealand School of Dance and is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) as a member of LINK Dance Company, with a Bachelor of Performing Arts.

In 2014, Chimene was awarded an Ian Potter Cultural Trust Grant to travel to Impuls Tanz, Vienna as a participant of the intensive ATLAS program for young choreographers.

In 2015, she performed her solo work In Formation II  at the Melbourne Fringe Festival Hub, which was nominated for a Green Room Award for Concept and Realisation.

She has worked with Opera Australia over several years in productions of Turandot, The Ring Cycle, La Boheme, Eugene Onegin, Rigoletto, Faust, Macbeth, Madame Butterfly and HANDA opera on Sydney Harbour.

Chimene is a Certified Counter Technique Teacher, a STOTT Matwork Pilates trained instructor and also a Barre Teacher at KX Barre and Pilates.
