Amy joined The Australian Ballet in 2002 following her graduation from the Australian Ballet School. She was promoted to coryphée in 2007, soloist in 2011 and senior artist in 2012. In 2018, she was promoted to the rank of principal artist on stage, after the world premiere of Lucas Jervies’ Spartacus.

Amy won the Telstra Ballet Dancer Award 2012 and was awarded the ‘People’s Choice’ award in both 2010 and 2008.

She has guested with the The Dancers Company, in Paquita and as Odile in Swan Lake.

Amy is married to fellow dancer Jarryd Madden and they have two beautiful children together, Willow and Phoenix.

Amy is well known in the dance world for her breathtaking performances, her versatility as an artist and is genuinely compassionate towards others with her nurturing nature.

We are delighted to have Amy sharing her passion, experience and love of dance with our adult dancers!
